Reviews from nailbiters

❌ Did not help

Probably my most desperate moment. I hired a hypnotist to hypnotize me into losing my nail biting. It was kind of expensive. I thought I was going to have to go meet him in person but he eid it over the phone. I laid on a couch, he told me to just listen to what he was saying and that it didn't matter what I do; the hypnosis works on the subconscious. So even if I fall asleep it doesn't matter because my subconscious hears it all. And I did fall asleep. When I woke up, I was not biting my nails anymore. Until the next day. He told me I was supposed to listen to the hour-long recordings of the hypnosis every day until the problem went away. But they were so boring, there was no way I could put myself through that for an hour every day, especially when I already had lost faith in it since the effects of the "first round" didn't even last 24 hours.
