This worked really well for me in high school. Didn't look weird to have a rubber band on my wrist back then, although it probably looks weird in more adult professional settings. It sounds extreme but the pain was effective at reconditioning my brain to not want to bite.Unfortunately, eventually I did it so much that my pain tolerance went up, and the snaps didn't really bother me anymore. Didn't expect that.
